| | Latest News | School is Open as Normal | **Reminder for Parents and Carers** Please remember you are all invited to our celebration assembly on Fridays at 9:00am. We will share good work, effort, punctuality and attendance and we will join together to sing our whole school celebration songs. Dear Parents You will be aware that we are approaching the time of year when assessments are completed so that your child’s progress can be measured. This process begins next week with Year 6 SAT tests. These are tests which are administered in school, but then sent away to be marked and is used as the measure of how well our school is performing. SATs results are also used by secondary schools to put pupils into the correct set before they move on. It is vital, therefore, that all pupils in Year 6 attend next week and we will be running a breakfast club in the Hive for all year 6 pupils from 8.20am. It is also important that to prepare for the tests, your child gets plenty of early nights to ensure they are in the best position possible to show what they can do. Tests for other year groups will take place after half term. We want to see all pupils in school achieve to the best of their ability and we look to you for support in partnership with us to enable this to happen. Kind regards Mrs Gray | | | | Superstars of The Week | | |
